Stay & explore · Niagara Falls, Ontario
Plan the whole stay: accommodation, dining, relaxation and time to explore. Here is a destination to consider, with official information to help you compare the hotel experience and casino access separately.
A connected hotel stay
Hilton Niagara Falls / Fallsview Hotel & Suites overlooks the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls and is directly connected to Fallsview Casino Resort. It is an option for travellers who want accommodation and access to the casino complex in the Fallsview area.
Before you book
Compare room categories carefully: a falls-view room and a city-view room offer different outlooks. Confirm parking charges, breakfast, cancellation terms and the route between your hotel and the casino before booking.
Check the venue’s current admission requirements and opening times directly. Accommodation reservations and access to gambling areas are separate arrangements.
Room availability, prices and inclusions are set by the hotel. Use the official links for current details and reservations.
Ontario
Local time
The practical base is downtown if you want Union Station, the harbour, and flat walking. Residential neighbourhoods sit a short transit ride away and feel less like a tower cluster. The Toronto Islands are a ferry trip, not a drive. Summer is humid. Winter is cold, with a long underground PATH downtown for people who would rather not be in the wind.
Sample stay
A sample way to stay if you want the skyline, ferries, and flat streets by the lake. Think of the harbour and the area around Union Station as the orientation point.

Sample stay
A sample way to stay if you want local streets, ravines, and a streetcar ride into the core. West-end and midtown neighbourhoods are the usual pattern. This is not a named property.

British Columbia
Local time
The downtown peninsula puts Stanley Park, the seawall, and the waterfront in walking distance. It also rains for long stretches outside summer. Neighbourhoods off the peninsula, including Kitsilano and around Commercial Drive, are how a lot of people actually stay: a beach or a high street, then the SkyTrain or a bus when they need the core. The North Shore mountains are close enough to see and far enough to need a plan.
Sample stay
A sample downtown stay aimed at the seawall and Canada Place. Useful for a short visit. Evenings can be loud in the entertainment streets.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Sample stay
A sample stay in a residential area, with the beach or a high street as the daily walk. You trade a skyline view for groceries and quieter nights.

Quebec
Local time
French is the language you will see and hear. Old Montreal is the stone riverfront, compact and busy with visitors. The Plateau and Mile End are residential, with stair-fronted streets and the sort of walking people come for. Winter is serious. The metro is the simple way across the island. Between Toronto and Montreal, the train is a real option; check VIA Rail for the day you travel.
Sample stay
A sample stay in Old Montreal or the downtown core. You are near the St. Lawrence and the main sights. Streets are uneven and the area fills up on weekends.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Sample stay
A sample stay in a residential neighbourhood above downtown. Better for cafés and parks, with a metro ride down to the river. Not a specific inn.

Alberta
Local time
Calgary is the city people use before the mountains. The Bow River pathway runs through downtown, and the Plus 15 walkway links many core buildings above the street, which matters when a chinook has not warmed the day. Banff town is a little over 125 kilometres west. A day trip is possible and also tiring. The Calgary Stampede usually occupies part of July and changes which downtown streets feel open.
Sample stay
A sample downtown stay if you want the pathway and the core on foot. Glass towers, not a mountain town. Chinook winds can swing the temperature in a day.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Sample stay
A sample approach, not a property: sleep in Calgary and drive to Banff or Canmore for the day. You avoid a park-town room and you spend the time in the car.

Banff National Park
Local time
The town of Banff sits inside the national park. A Parks Canada pass is a separate requirement from a room. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are not in the town; in busy months Parks Canada has limited private-vehicle access, so check the current rule before you count on driving up. Canmore, outside the park gates, is the usual alternative base when the townsite is full or you want a grocery run without park rules on the doorstep.
Sample stay
A sample stay in Banff town so the centre is on foot. Wildlife is ordinary here, including elk in the streets. A park pass is still required to be in the park.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Sample stay
A sample stay in or near Canmore, outside the park boundary. You drive in for the day. This describes an area, not a lodge with rooms on offer.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
